The Bystander Moment

The Bystander Moment approach was developed by pioneering activist and writer Jackson Katz and his colleagues. In a riveting analysis illustrated with archival footage and clips from news, sports, and entertainment media, Katz explores the role of bystanders -- especially friends, teammates, classmates, and co-workers—in perpetuating sexual harassment, sexual assault, and other forms of gender violence.

A documentary, Sundance Film Festival 2023, pursues the depth and strength of the allegations against Brett Kavanaugh and the equally telling and dishonest responses to ensure his installation on the Court.

Women’s Voices Now

Women’s Voices Now (WVN), advocates for women’s rights by using the power of social impact film to influence media and culture. They carry out their mission with a free streaming archive of international women’s rights based films, an annual online film festival, educational programs, screening events, digital publication, multimedia workshops and trainings, and a film fiscal sponsorship program.
